South Indian superstar Mohanlal’s official blog was hacked on Tuesday morning by a group that calls itself ‘team cyber warriors’, allegedly from Pakistan. His official blog, The Complete Actor, was displayed with scandalous messages supporting Pakistan’s stance on the Kashmir issue, reports The Times of India.

On Tuesday morning, Mohanlal’s fans were shocked as his blog showed Pakistan’s flag and a message that read, “We (will) never forget what you did against humanity. In Jammu and Kashmir, millions of people are dead. Indian forces killed Kashmiri families, killed innocent children. But no one cared! Your bank accounts, credit cards, servers are in danger.” The last line of the message said, “Dear admins, we just wanted to publish this message. Muslims are not terrorists”.

The message comes across a warning as the hackers threaten to hack credit cards, bank accounts and servers. A source close to Mohanlal told the news site, “They didn’t hack the site, but they only attempted it. The message from the hackers appeared only for three minutes. The moment the alert appeared, we could tackle the issue and the site was restored immediately.”

To everyone’s relief, the blog was restored in 20 minutes. Hacking Celebrity and government websites and accounts has been ona  rise. A report last month pointed out that Bhartiya Janta Party’s (BJP) portal and the personal website of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are among India’s most targeted sites by hackers.

According to government data, during the 2011, 2012, 2013.and 2014 (till May), a total number of 21,699, 27,605, 28,481.and 9,174 Indian websites were hacked by various hacker groups spread across worldwide.
