Xiaomi Launched Mi TV 5X Series in India

In India, Xiaomi has launched the Mi TV 5X Series, which features a 4K HDR panel and 40W dual speakers.

Along with the new Mi Notebooks and Mi Smart Band 6, Xiaomi also unveiled the Mi TV 5X series today at its Smarter Living 2022 event in India. It is the successor of the Mi TV 4X series and is available in three sizes: 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch, all of which support 4K UHD resolution. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the Mi TV 5X series’ major specs and features.

Specifications for the Mi TV 5X Series
To begin with, the Mi TV 5X series features a premium metal finish, a metallic stand, a carbon fiber back, and a bezel-less design. Xiaomi provides a 96.6 percent screen-to-body ratio for an immersive viewing experience, whether you choose the 43-inch, 50-inch, or 55-inch size. A 4K UHD display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160p is standard on all models.

The panel has a DCI-P3 broad colour gamut of 94 percent, 10-bit colour depth, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision compatibility. Xiaomi’s proprietary Vivid Picture Engine 2, Reality Flow (or MEMC), and Adaptive Brightness (powered by a Photoelectric sensor) will also be available.

The Mi TV 5X series is equipped with a 64-bit quad-core Cortex-A55 processor, as well as 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

Naturally, this smart TV series uses the company’s PatchWall UI, which is based on Android TV 10. It’s a feature-packed skin that’s grown even better today. The IMDb integration is the standout feature of this 4K smart TV range. Yes, the Mi TV 5X series is India’s first smart TV range to have IMDb support. It implies that the IMDb rating of movies and TV series will now appear in their listings.

With Android TV 10, you also have access to over 77 free live channels, data saver mode, Google Assistant compatibility, and more. The Mi TV 5X comes with a 40W stereo speaker (2x 20W) that supports Dolby Atmos, a hands-free Google Assistant experience (thanks to far-field microphones), the Mi Home app, and more.
