Xiaomi 12X to be Released in India Soon; Price and Color Options Leaked

Xiaomi just revealed the Xiaomi 12 series, which features the newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, as well as the Xiaomi 12X, which uses the Snapdragon 870 chipset. While there’s no news on when the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro will arrive in India, the Xiaomi 12X has been confirmed to be coming shortly.

Xiaomi 12X will be arriving in India soon

According to 91Mobiles, the Xiaomi 12X would be available in India shortly. This contradicts a prior report that the phone will not be available in India. However, we do not have a specific launch date. However, it is expected to launch in the first half of 2022.

Aside from that, the insider has disclosed information on the RAM+storage variants, probable colour possibilities, and the Xiaomi 12X pricing in India. The smartphone will be available in two configurations: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. It is also likely to come in purple, blue, and grey colour variants.

In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi 12X is expected to be priced under Rs 40,000 to fight in India with the likes of the OnePlus Nord 2, Realme GT 5G, and others.

For those who are unaware, the Xiaomi 12X has a design that is identical to the Xiaomi 12. A rectangular back camera with one large and two small camera housings, as well as a punch-hole screen, can be found. You have a 6.28-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 480Hz, a peak brightness of 1100 nits, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and a Gorilla Glass Victus layer.

The phone comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in China. A 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide camera, and a 5MP macro camera are all included in the camera package. A 32MP selfie camera is also included. The phone comes with a 4,500mAh battery and supports 67W fast charging. It runs MIUI 13 on Android 12 out of the box. It’s unclear whether the Xiaomi 12X will be available in India with the latest MIUI version.
