The Xiaomi 12 has been leaked several times in the past. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has yet to reveal the specifics of the forthcoming flagship device’s debut, but a new rumour says that it will happen on December 12. Xiaomi 12 might be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, according to previous reports. A 50-megapixel main sensor is also expected on the device. Along with the Xiaomi 12, another device in the forthcoming series, the Xiaomi 12X, is expected to be unveiled.
Xiaomi might introduce Xiaomi 12 on December 12th, according to a rumour from Chinese magazine MyDrivers, due to the date’s rarity and the Chinese shopping festival that occurs around the middle of December. Xiaomi 12 is said to be the world’s first smartphone to include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The new SoC is scheduled to be unveiled between November 30 and December 2 at the Qualcomm Tech Summit.
According to a Weibo post by Digital Chat Station, the mi 12 will include a curved display and symmetrical speakers. A full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is believed to be included in the phone. The Xiaomi phone is reportedly said to include a 50-megapixel primary camera, as well as the capability for 100W rapid charging.
In December, the mi 12X is expected to be unveiled with the mi 12. The device is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 870 processor and might be the Mi 11X’s replacement. The Xiaomi 12X is rumoured to come with a 6.28-inch (1,080×2,400 pixels) OLED display, Snapdragon 870 SoC, and 5,000mAh battery. The Xiaomi 12X is said to include a 50-megapixel rear camera and a 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The Xiaomi 12X is said to offer both 67W and 33W wireless charging.
