With the launch of the Galaxy S23 series, Samsung finally held its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2023 following a long trail of rumors and leaks. In terms of the design, it matches the rumored expectations. A Galaxy S22 Ultra-like design with 12 recycled elements is included, along with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. There is a 6.8-inch QHD+ Edge Dynamic AMOLED 2X display on the front with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a Vision Booster.
In addition to a 5,000mAh battery, there is a 45W adaptor and wireless charging support. Powered by Android 13, the Galaxy S23 Ultra runs Samsung One UI 5.1. Galaxy S23+ and S23 Features and Details
In this model, the Contour Cut design has been dropped. The display is slightly smaller at 6.6-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a 120Hz variable refresh rate. While the vanilla Galaxy S23 features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz screen, both come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
Offering 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, the Galaxy S23+ and S23 have Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoCs. While the Plus model supports a 45W adaptor, the standard model settles for a 25W model.
Instead of a 200MP main snapper, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 50MP camera. It also comes with a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens.
The Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 feature IP68 ratings, 5G support, and One UI 5.1 based on Android 13.

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 Ultra starts at $1,199 (â‚ą98,200), and its Galaxy S23+ starts at $999 (â‚ą81,800). Its Galaxy S23 starts at $799 (â‚ą65,400), similar to the Galaxy S22 series. Starting February 17, the phones will be available in the US.
All three Galaxy S23 phones will receive four years of software and five years of security updates.
