The Galaxy S23 Series Launch Date Has Been Announced!
According to Samsung Colombia’s announcement teaser, the Galaxy S23 series will launch on February 1. As the poster states, “Epic moments are coming,” and features three vertically arranged cameras with leaves and lilacs in the corner. The color options and design may be teased.
The launch date was also mentioned in a previous rumor, so that might be true. However, the announcement poster is no longer available, so we will have to wait a little longer to see if it is accurate. Since rumors are rife and we also have a leaked announcement, Samsung might confirm the details soon.
Recently leaked renders have flaunted the Galaxy S23 series, which has been making headlines for quite some time. As a result of previously leaked promotional images, we have seen the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Ultra, and even the S23+ drop the Contour Cut Design. We’ve seen something similar previously.
Galaxy S23 Standard and Galaxy S23 Plus models will have three rear cameras, while the Ultra model will have four. Color options include Cotton Flower, Misty Lilac, Botanic Green, and Phantom Black.
As for the hardware, it was previously leaked that the new Galaxy S23 phones would be powered by the tweaked Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. In addition to 200MP main cameras, the S23 Ultra may also feature a 50MP camera. Expect some new camera features and battery upgrades as well. Upon launch, Samsung will likely release One UI 5.1 based on Android 13.
Samsung might soon reveal more details about the expected launch now that it’s less than a month away. Keep checking back here for updates.
