Oppo Mobile India will be launching its Find 7 smartphone by mid-2014. The Chinese smartphone maker has also announced its plans to have more than 10 smartphone products across various categories by December 2014. Currently OPPO has four smartphones models selling in India.
Oppo Find 7 comes with a 5.5-inch QHD display with 1440×2560 pixels of resolution and very high pixel density of approximately 538 ppi. It runs on Android V4.3 Jelly Bean and is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. The phone comes with on board storage space of 32GB.
Find 7 also has a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera that can record 4K video and 720p slow motion video at 120fps. The phone is fuelled by a 3000 mAh battery and comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, AGPS, USB OTG (on-the-go), 3G and 4G LTE as its connectivity features.
According to Mr. Tom Lu, CEO, Oppo Mobiles India, “India is emerging as the fastest growing smartphone market in the world. As such, we’re very optimistic about the growth of the Oppo brand.” Lu said the company is planning to improve after sales service and at the same time focus on market expansion to attract more buyers.
