Nothing Phone (1) Price Hike: Nothing eventually unveiled its first smartphone, the phone (1), with a unique and appealing semi-transparent design, after much “hype.” A month later, the phone experienced its first price increase in India.

The price of the Nothing phone (1) in India has been raised by Rs 1,000 to Rs 33,999 for the 8GB+128GB model, Rs 36,999 for the 8GB+256GB model, and Rs 39,999 for the 12GB+256GB variation.

To refresh your memory, the pricing at launch was Rs 32,999 (8GB+128GB), Rs 35,999 (8GB+256GB), and Rs 38,999 (12GB+256GB).

“Plenty has changed since we started building Phone (1), including economic factors such as fluctuating currency exchange rates and rising component costs. In response to the current climate, we’ve had to make a change to our prices,” Nothing was stated in a statement explaining the rationale for the shift.

The change is currently in effect, although Flipkart still offers the old Nothing phone costs (1). While the price increase is minor, it is surprising given that the phone was only recently released. Furthermore, considering the phone’s history of problems, this information may elicit some criticism!

Nothing phone (1) also receives an update

Furthermore, Nothing has published the Nothing OS 1.1.3 OTA update for the phone (1), which includes camera modifications. It recently received the Nothing OS 1.1.2 upgrade earlier this month.

These improvements include better selfie quality, quicker Night mode and HDR, deeper color saturation, less grain when zooming, a reminder to clean the lenses, and more. When employing Glyph illumination, images are also modified to the appropriate hue and brightness.

Furthermore, the update includes the Google Adaptive Battery option and redesigns fingerprint authentication while using third-party apps. The update weighs 64.33MB and is now ready for download.

The Nothing phone (1), as previously said, includes a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a Snapdragon 778G+ CPU, 50MP dual rear cameras, a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities, and more.
