iBall launches mid-range Andi 4.5z with IPS display, dual-core CPU for Rs 7,499

Indian smartphone maker iBall has now launched the latest device in its line-up, the Andi 4.5z, for Rs 7,499. The new handset sports a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display and runs on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. Under the hood, the smartphone comes with a dual-core Cortex A7 processor clocked at 1.3GHz coupled with 512MB of RAM.

In terms of photography, the Andi 4.5z packs an enhanced 8-megapixel camera with auto focus and an LED flash integrated as well as a front shooter. The smartphone offers 4GB of internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. On the connectivity front, the handset comes with 3G, EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 support.

The handset also gives users GPS, A-GPS as well dual-SIM support. The smartphone sports most of the usual suspects like a G-sensor, proximity sensor and a light sensor. Other features like Bluetooth tethering and USB Internet have also been included. Rounding up the package is a 1,700mAh battery. iBall has also integrated a Flip to Mute function wherein users can flip the device upside down to automatically mute calls. The new offering will be available in black and white colour variants for users to pick from.

Also sported by the Quadro is a 5-inch qHD display with a pixel density of 220ppi. The device, like the Andi 4.5z, gives users 4GB of internal memory expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card. The smartphone also comes with a 12-megapixel primary camera as well as a 2-megapixel front shooter. Rounding up the package is a 2,200mAh battery.
