In India, Samsung has introduced three new gaming monitors: the Samsung Odyssey G8, the Odyssey G7, and the Odyssey Neo G7. As well as the Neo Quantum processor, AMD’s FreeSync Premium Pro and more features support the Smart Entertainment feature, which turns the monitors into smart TVs with its built-in entertainment hub.
Odyssey G8, G7, and Neo G7 Monitors: Details and Features
Odyssey G8 has a 34-inch OLED ultra-wide OLED display with 0.1ms response time (the fastest in the Odyssey lineup), 175Hz refresh rate, and QHD resolution. There are also 21:9 aspect ratios, 99.3% DCI-P3 color gamuts, and 1800R curvatures. VESA DisplayHDR 400 True Black certifications are also included.
In terms of the Odyssey, Neo G7 supports Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology. It has a 43-inch Mini-LED model with 4KVESA Display HDR600 and HDR10+ support, a quick response time of 1 ms, and up to 165Hz refresh rate. There’s also a 32-inch model available.
There are several features on the Odyssey G7, including a 28-inch UHD IPS screen certified by VESA DisplayHDR 400, a 144Hz refresh rate, 178° of wide viewing angle, and a 1ms response time. A CoreSync feature tries to match the game’s on-screen colors with the lighting. It’s also compatible with G-Sync and Auto source switch+.
In addition to Alexa and TV Plus, these gaming monitors also feature far-field voice interaction, adaptive sound, and Tizen OS.
Samsung Odyssey Monitors: Price and Offers
Odyssey G8 retails at ₹1,75,000, Odyssey G7 Neo at ₹1,30,000 (43-inch), and ₹1,00,000 (32-inch). Odyssey G7 retails at ₹75,000.
