The world may have given the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 some glowing reviews, but Samsung isn’t able to do the device justice. Worldwide device shipments are just not able to keep up with the demand.

While the shortage of units was blamed on unexpected demand, Samsung is all geared up to release the Galaxy Note 7 in India on 2 September, but is expecting a delay for the much-loved Black Onyx variant in India.

The news was first reported by GSMArena, which spotted the change in the shipping dates for the Note 7 smartphones. As per the official Samsung website, out of the Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium and Black Onyx models up for pre-order in India, the Black model is expected to start shipping only a week later; which is from 8 September 2016. The other two models will ship as promised on 2 September, which is also the same time that the smartphone arrives in stores across the country.

For now the Blue Coral variant is clearly seems to be missing from the selection and there is no telling when the model will arrive in India. Samsung carved out its own niche with this model and demand seems to be pretty high as well. Customers who had booked the Blue Coral model of the Note 7 were intimated about the 3-4 week delay in shipping.

We recently got our hands on the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and it seemed like a winner in the Android smartphone space. We suggest you take a look at the our first impressions before you take the leap and place your order, however.
