Realme Takes Inspiration from iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island – Is It The Next Big Thing?

Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island is a hit among smartphone enthusiasts, and it seems Realme has taken notice. The company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth, recently tweeted about an upcoming Realme C-series phone that was seen with the Dynamic Island clone. Although the tweet was deleted soon after, it has sparked excitement among fans eager to know more.

Realme’s version, the Mini Capsule, features an elongated hole punch resembling the iPhone 14 Pro’s Dynamic Island with its floating UI. The Mini Capsule shows the phone’s charging status and smoothly hides the front camera. OnLeaks and Smartprix have collaborated to show an animated version of the Mini Capsule in action, which shows the charging status on the Mini Capsule as soon as it’s connected to the charger.

Realme’s version of Dynamic Island may introduce more features. Apple’s version currently shows call and message notifications, charging status, timer, and music controls, and even allows users to see Live Activities. The upcoming Realme phone is expected to belong to the C-series, which suggests it could be an affordable offering.

While Xiaomi has already taken Inspiration from Dynamic Island’s appearance with the Civi 2, Realme could be the first to offer similar functionalities. The phone’s launch date is still unknown, but we’ll keep you posted with the latest details.
