Snapdragon 782G Mobile Platform: Details
The Snapdragon 782G is primarily a 6nm Kryo 670 CPU but has an octa-core design that boosts clock speeds up to 2.7GHz. The GPU included is the Adreno 642L, which is the same as its predecessor and helps you see up to 10% faster performance.
The Spectra ISP comes with three cameras, each with a pixel size of 22MP and a minimum shutter speed of 1/30. It also supports up to 200-megapixel photos, 10-bit color depth, action shots with 120 frames per second, and HDR10. If you’re interested in how AI drives the camera components on this device, don’t worry; we’ll get into that later.
The Snapdragon 782G supports both mmWave and Sub-6 GHz 5G bands, with support for both the FastConnect 6700 and Wi-Fi 6. It’s also up to speed with Bluetooth version 5.2, supporting enhanced gaming experiences simultaneously. The spec sheet includes support for Snapdragon Sound, Qualcomm Aqstic audio codec, and the Snapdragon X53 5G Modem-RF System.
The 782G SoC has strong positioning in all major market segments. The chipset supports multiple navigation technologies, including GLONASS, Beidou, and Galileo. For the display, phones equipped with this SoC can support a 4K resolution with a 60Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate.
The Snapdragon 782G has more than just good specs. It also boasts support for LPDDR5 RAM, USB-C, Qualcomm’s 3D Sonic Sensor, and Quick Charge 4+ technology. Plus, it says it will give you extended battery life too!
