Nothing Phone (2) Confirmed to Feature Snapdragon 8 Series Chipset

Nothing Phone (2), the successor to the highly anticipated phone (1), is set to launch later this year with some exciting new features. At the ongoing MWC 2023 event, Carl Pei, the founder of Nothing, revealed that the P (2) would come equipped with a flagship Snapdragon 8 Series chipset, providing users with a premium offering.

Nothing Phone (2): Details

While the exact chipset is still unknown, it is speculated that the P (2) could come with either the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 or the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. The presence of a Snapdragon 8 Series processor can bring about exciting camera features and faster charging capabilities, making it a compelling choice for users.

The phone (1) came with a custom Snapdragon 778G+ SoC, but with the decision to go for a more high-end chipset, we can expect the P (2) to offer even more power and speed. Additionally, the semi-transparent design with the Glyph Interface is likely to be retained, as it was a popular feature of the first phone.

While no further details are available about the Nothing Phone (2) yet, we can expect more information to be revealed in the coming weeks. With wireless and reverse wireless charging included in the P (1), we can also expect the successor to feature these capabilities. Nothing has been revealed about the P (2) Price yet, but we can expect it to be competitive.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Nothing Phone (2), and let us know in the comments below if you’re excited about its launch.
