Buy Moto G on the launch day and take home goodies

After a series of delays, Motorola finally disclosed its plans to launch the Moto G in India on February 5. Further confirming the launch, Flipkart listed the Moto G on its site, and also promised “incredible” offers. Keeping up with its promise, there are various goodies that one can take home if they buy the device on the launch day, presumably February 5.
Firstly, some lucky winners could win 100 percent cashback on the Moto G, which means you get store credit of the same amount. Secondly, it offers 70 percent flat off on the colourful Moto G shells and covers. Users can also avail of Rs 500 discount on e-books and Rs 1,000 off on clothing, on purchase of the new phone.
However, all offers come with fine print and as expected terms and conditions. So, Flipkart may probably allow users to utilise the store credit on select products only and only some of the shells may be available at 70% discounted rate. Neither Flipkart nor Motorola has disclosed the pricing yet. However, the device is expected to be priced around Rs 15,000.
In terms of specs, the Moto G sports a 4.5-inch HD ‘edge-to-edge’ display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, amounting to a pixel density of 329ppi, and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen. It runs on Android 4.3 and the company has started rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat. Under the hood, the device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (Cortex-A7) processor clocked at 1.2GHz with 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.3-megapixel front shooter and a 2070mAh battery.
