Google Pixel 10a Leaks: First Renders Show a Very Familiar Phone

A fresh look at what’s coming has slipped out, showing Google’s next budget-friendly phone more clearly than before. After many quiet weeks filled with hints too small to trust, sharp photos now reveal the Pixel 10a in detail. The design stays close to familiar ground – nothing bold, nothing wild. In case you liked the appearance of the previous model, you will feel at home with this one.

A B Design That Reflects the Pixel 9a

The leaked pictures, allegedly supplied by Android Authority, depict a phone that virtually resembles the Pixel 9a. You would not be able to see the difference at first.

Comparing the Pixel 10a (obviously in black/Obsidian) to the new one, the new one is slightly wider. The older model is somewhat taller. This is not a significant redesign. It is closer to a slight movement.

The back of the phone has one distinct change. The cameras were sitting in a pill-shaped bump. The lenses are now fitted into a smooth oval frame. This frame is built into the back of the phone. This is a minor difference that sets the two phones apart.

The phone maintains the same design on the front side. It is powered by a flat-screen display with a hole at its center, which doubles as a selfie camera. The screen borders (bezels) are yet again somewhat thick, and it’s even across the board.

Same Processor, Big Battery

The resemblances extend beyond the external appearances. A recent unintentional leak from Verizon provided us with a preview of the specifications, which are highly anticipated. In this model, Google is opting to stay stable rather than to undertake a considerable change.

The Google Tensor G4 is likely to be utilized in the Pixel 10a. This is the identical chip in the former phone. This implies that the phone must be a good runner, though it will not provide a drastic improvement in speed compared to the previous version.

Nevertheless, the battery life may be a source of pride. The leak indicates a massive 5,100 mAh battery. That is large for this phone, which is significantly big, and it indicates excellent battery life that will easily last a full day or more.

Google Pixel 10a: Display and Camera Setup

The screen specifications are sound with a mid-range phone. Such is what the leaks indicate we shall have:

  • Screen Size: A 6.3-inch display.
  • Display Type: Full HD+ pOLED.
  • Refresh rate 120 Hz (this is what makes scrolling adult content appear smooth).

When taking photos, the Pixel 10a sticks to a straightforward yet efficient setup. It has a primary camera with a 48 MP sensor and a 13 MP ultra-wide lens, used for landscape or group photos. The front camera is 13 MP and used for selfies and video calls.

There is a limited selection of memory options. Amazingly, there will be a single option: 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. This is typical of most budget phones, but it could be tight with individuals who save a lot of videos.

Google Pixel 10a: When Can We Expect It?

All this is unofficial information, though. Leaks can be really accurate, yet things may turn out differently before the end product reaches the shelves. These details should be taken as pilot hints, not as definite facts.

The Google Pixel 10a may be released sometime in February 2026, if the rumors are accurate. As that date approaches, we will probably hear more of Google in the near future. At this point, the Pixel 10a is already appearing as a dependable and stable evolution of the existing design with minor improvements, but not a revolution.
