Tecno Phantom V Fold: A Revolutionary Foldable Smartphone At An Affordable Price

Tecno has officially entered the foldable smartphone market with its latest offering – the Phantom V Fold. Launched at this year’s MWC event, the Phone is set to take on Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4. The Tecno Phantom V Fold boasts a 7.85-inch flexible AMOLED primary screen with a 2K screen resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 6.82-inch curved secondary display, also supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. Both screens feature LTPO technology, 1100 nits of peak brightness, and the P3 color gamut.

Designed with an aerospace-grade hinge and drop design, the foldable Phone is durable and offers a crease-less display experience. It comes in a Cosmic-inspired design with a big circular rear camera hump and a skin-friendly leather back panel, available in Black and White colors.

The Phantom V Fold has a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP portrait camera, and a 13MP telephoto lens, with a 16MP selfie camera on the main screen and a 32MP snapper on the sub-screen. The smartphone is under the hood by the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC, with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It runs on HiOS 13 based on Android 13.

The foldable Phone also boasts a side-placed fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and 5G connectivity, among other features. The Foldable Phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold is competitively priced at ₹89,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and ₹99,999 for the 12GB+512GB version. As an introductory offer, it will be available at ₹79,999 (12GB+256GB). The Phone is set to arrive in India in Q1 2023, with the exact launch date yet to be confirmed.
