Exciting news for smart TV enthusiasts in India as Xiaomi is set to introduce a brand new Redmi Smart TV with Fire OS on March 14. It will be the first time that Xiaomi is collaborating with Amazon for a Fire OS experience.
With Fire OS 7, the upcoming Redmi Smart TV will have a Smart Control Hub and a one-for-all remote control. Amazon has set up a dedicated microsite for the launch, which hints at a bezel-less design and metallic finish. The TV is confirmed to have Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth version 5.0, Miracast, and Apple AirPlay support.
Xiaomi is known for its impressive audio and visual specs. We can expect the same from the Smart TV. The global Xiaomi F2 TV range includes 43-inch, 50-inch, and 55-inch models with a metal unibody design. These TVs have 4K Ultra screen resolution, MEMC, HDR10, HLG, a 90% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 1.07 billion colors. They also have dual speakers (12W each) supporting Dolby Audio, DTS HD, and DTD Virtual:X audio.
It will be interesting to see if the same specs will be available in the Redmi Smart TV launching in India. The price is unknown, but we can expect it to be affordable. More details on this will be available soon, so stay tuned. Remember to share your thoughts on the upcoming Redmi Smart TV in the comments below.
