OnePlus Confirmed MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max Processor For OnePlus 10R

The MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max Processor is Confirmed for the OnePlus 10R.

OnePlus just stated that the OnePlus 10R, Nord CE 2 Lite, and a new set of Nord earphones would be available in India on April 28. To keep the hype going ahead of the formal launch date, the firm is bound to disclose some specifics. So, in keeping with its promise, OnePlus has finally disclosed the chipset that will power the OnePlus 10R.

Details about the OnePlus 10R Chipset

The OnePlus 10R 5G will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor, according to an announcement on OnePlus’ Indian website and an official tweet. This backs up prior reports and disclosures, including an earlier confirmation from a OnePlus executive.

The inclusion of the word “Max” by the firm suggests a modified version of the Dimensity 8100 for the OnePlus 10R. This might be the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max, which drives the Oppo Reno 7 Pro, or the AI version of the same processor, which OnePlus utilised in last year’s Nord 2.

The Dimensity 8100 for the OnePlus 10R will feature the same specifications sheet as the original model, with a few adjustments. The Dimensity 8100 is built on TSMC’s 5nm process and features an Arm Mali-G610 MC6 GPU with MediaTek’s HyperEngine 5.0 gaming technology. It also has LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 storage, and other features. It also employs the Open Resource Architecture (DORA), allowing OEMs to customise it to their requirements.

In terms of other known facts, the OnePlus 10R will also enable 150W SuperVOOC fast charging for its 5,000mAh battery. It will also be available in an 80W rapid charging model. OnePlus has also confirmed the 10R design, which is similar to the Realme GT Neo 3 but with some appealing differences like a dual-tone design and a triangle camera configuration.

The OnePlus 10R is also said to be a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 3, so we may anticipate a 120Hz AMOLED display, 50MP triple back cameras, and more. We must wait for OnePlus to supply us with all of the confirmed facts.
