Daredevil: Born Again – This Hidden Easter Egg CONFIRMS Miles Morales in the MCU!

Marvel fans, buckle up! Daredevil: Born Again episode 3 has just dropped, and it’s packed with twists, turns, and shocking revelations. But one hidden detail may be the most game-changing Easter egg yet—a subtle yet undeniable hint that Miles Morales exists in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)!

In this latest episode, Matt Murdock finds himself in the middle of an intense legal battle, defending Hector Ayala (aka White Tiger), who is falsely accused of murder. As the tension rises, Matt’s key witness unexpectedly changes their statement, threatening to unravel the entire case. Desperate to save his client, Matt does the unthinkable—he reveals Hector’s identity as White Tiger in court.

But here’s where things get interesting. During his arguments, Matt references multiple police officers who have reported on White Tiger’s heroics. Among them is an officer named Morales. For hardcore Marvel fans, this name immediately sets off alarms. Could this be a nod to Jefferson “Jeff” Morales, Miles Morales’ father and a police officer in both the comics and the Spider-Verse movies? Given that Daredevil: Born Again is deeply embedded in Marvel’s NYC setting, this might be more than just a coincidence—it could be a significant clue that Miles Morales is already a part of the MCU.

Could Miles Morales Appear in Daredevil: Born Again?

This Easter egg raises a huge question: is Marvel subtly setting up Miles Morales’ live-action debut? The theory isn’t as far-fetched as it seems.

For starters, Wilson Fisk (Kingpin) made a cryptic reference to Spider-Man in an earlier episode, sparking speculation that Tom Holland’s Peter Parker could make a surprise appearance. However, with the mention of Officer Morales, some fans now believe Fisk’s comment may have been about Miles Morales, not Peter Parker.

Don’t expect Spider-Man to swing into Hell’s Kitchen yet. Due to Sony owning the live-action rights to Spider-Man, Marvel Studios faces strict limitations on using Spidey in their TV shows. Marvel executive Brad Winderbaum stated that while Spider-Man can appear in films and animated projects, direct references in live-action series remain tricky due to rights agreements. So, as exciting as this theory is, a full-blown Miles Morales cameo in Daredevil: Born Again remains unlikely.

If you’ve never heard of Miles Morales in the MCU, think again! Marvel has been teasing his presence for years:

  • Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017): Donald Glover plays Aaron Davis, a small-time crook who also happens to be Miles Morales’ uncle. In Morales’ene, he even mentions having a nephew to care for—an apparent reference to Miles.
  • Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023) – Donald Glover reprised his role as Aaron Davis, this time fully suited up as The Prowler. This crossover moment further suggests that Miles is part of the larger Marvel multiverse.

With Daredevil: Born Again now dropping the name “Officer Morales,” dismissing these” it’s as mere coincidences are becoming more challenging. Could this be Marvel’s way of layMarvel’s groundwork for a future Daredevil-Spider-Man team-up?

  • Spider-Man 4 (TBA): Rumors have suggested that Tom Holland’s next SpidHolland’svie could explore the idea of legacy, and what better way to do that than by introducing Miles Morales as the next Spidey?
