The Classic Angry Birds Game Is Making a Triumphant Return to Android and iOS
We, the millennials, remember the classic mobile games we used to enjoy back in the day in a world full of BGMI and PUBG: New State fans. The most popular game among these was the original Angry Birds title from 2012, which was delisted from both the App Store and the Play Store in 2019 as developers Rovio focused more on the game’s spinoffs such as Angry Birds: Journey and Angry Birds: Friends. The classic Angry Birds game, on the other hand, has now returned to Android and iOS as a paid title with no in-app purchases. Let’s get into the specifics right away!
The Classic Angry Birds Game Is Back on iOS and Android
Rovio removed the Angry Birds title from the App Store and Google Play Store in 2019. The company did not elaborate on its move at the time, only stating that it was for “testing purposes.” However, the developer recently took to Twitter to announce the return of the title to mobile devices as Rovio Classics: Angry Birds. You can see the tweet, as well as an animated cinematic video, down below.

Rovio Classics: Angry Bird is a remake of the original Angry Birds game. Rovio, on the other hand, has developed the game using the more common Unity engine rather than its older proprietary game engine. Despite this, the gameplay experience remains the same. To optimally destroy complex structures built by grumpy, enemy pigs, players will need to flick the angry birds with the right power and angle.
Another key distinction is that, unlike the original Angry Birds game, which was a free game with adverts and in-app purchases, Rovio Classics: Angry Birds is a premium product with no advertisements. There are no in-app purchases, and the game may be purchased for a one-time fee of 99 cents.
It will have eight original episodes, each with over 390 levels, the same as the original title from 2012. However, in the new Angry Birds game, players will be able to obtain the “Mighty Eagle” skill without paying it separately. In the original release, users had to make in-app purchases to obtain the aforementioned skill.
In terms of pricing, the new Rovio Classics: Angry Birds game is available in India for Rs 85 on the Google Play Store and Rs 89 on the Apple App Store.
