The Xiaomi Mi 5c launch may be scheduled for next Tuesday, December 6. That’s the scuttlebutt from China where the unveiling of the lower-cost model will take place.
The Xiaomi Mi 5s currently goes for CNY 1,900 while the 5c model is expected to go for close to half that – CNY 1,000 ($150/€140) is what we’re hearing.
Like the 5s, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will come in 5.2” and 5.5” versions. The specs won’t be quite the same – the Snapdragon 821 is getting swapped out for a 2.2GHz octa-core processor (the memory is still 3GB/64GB) and the camera setup is 12MP main, 8MP selfie.
