The new Vivo Y02 has entered the budget smartphone series for Android 12 Go Edition, a budget version of Android. Check out the features and specs it comes with below.
Vivo Y02: Details
The Vivo Y02 design is more sensible than interesting. Glossy material covers the back of the phone and wraps around the sides. At the same time, the notch sits awkwardly in the middle of the display and has a waterdrop cutout at the front. This phone comes in two colors: Orchid Blue and Cosmic Grey. The Vivo Y02 sees a flat edge design with a 2.5D unibody and 8.2mm thickness, making it look hideous. It is said to be resistant to scratches and fingerprints as well.
The device features a large, 6.5″ screen with an HD+ screen resolution and a blue light filter for viewing comfort. Under the hood is MediaTek’s Helio P22 octa-core SoC, which allows 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage to be installed, expandable up to 1TB via SD card.
The YO2 has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie shooter. It’s equipped with features like Face Beauty, Time lapse, and an in-built Bokeh effect. This phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging and runs FunTouch OS based on Android 12 Go.
Several features make the Nokia 6.1 Plus stand out, including dual-SIM card support and Bluetooth 5.0. While it’s a bummer the phone only uses micro-USB, we hope USB-C will be widely adopted in India soon because of its benefits over this protocol, like faster file transfers and better data throughput speeds.
Price and Availability
The Vivo Y02 has a single configuration with a price of Rs 8,999. It offers similar specs to the recently-launched Infinix Hot 20 Play and Redmi A1+, among others.
If a person wants to buy this smartphone, they can purchase it through the company’s website, but there’s no word on whether it’s available in offline stores.
