Vivo X80 Series Officially Launched in India with Zeiss Cameras

Vivo launched its flagship Vivo X80 series in India after debuting it in China and the worldwide market earlier this year. The Vivo X80 and X80 Pro include Zeiss-backed cameras as well as other premium specifications and features. Specs and Features of the Vivo X80 and X80 Pro

The Vivo X80 series Launched in India, which includes the X80 and X80 Pro, are camera-centric smartphones with a variety of superior image and video features. Zeiss Cinematic Bokeh, Zeiss Natural Color 2.0, increased night mode, micro-gimbal mode, and others are among them. The Vivo X80 smartphone’s lenses also include the Zeiss T* coating, which reduces stray light and ghosting while recording high-quality photographs or Videos.

The Vivo X80 Pro has a quad-camera configuration on the back, with a 50MP Samsung GNV sensor with OIS, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, a 12MP depth sensor, and an 8MP periscope lens with OIS. The Smartphone also contains the company’s own AI-powered Vivo V1+ image signal processor (ISP) to improve photos, decrease noise, and add MEMC dynamic frame insertion for videos.

The Vivo X80, on the other hand, has a triple-camera configuration in the rear, with a 50MP Sony IMX866 RGB sensor with OIS (a first for any device), and a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 12MP depth sensor. A 32MP selfie camera is positioned inside a top-centre punch-hole on both the Vivo X80 and the X80 Pro.

The Vivo X80 and X80 Pro both include a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The vanilla X80 features a Full HD+ resolution, while the higher-end X80 Pro sports a QHD display with a 2K resolution.

The Vivo X80 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, as well as up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS memory. On the other hand, the basic Vivo X80 has the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 CPU, combined with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Both models are equipped with the Vivo V1+ processor.

The X80 Pro comes with a 4,700mAh battery that supports TUV Rheinland-certified 80W rapid charging. The Vivo X80, on the other hand, has a smaller 4,500mAh battery with comparable quick charging features.

Aside from these features, the Vivo X80 series includes a sophisticated 4,285 sq. mm Liquid-Vapor Cooling system for thermal control. They also support 5G networks, the most recent Wi-Fi 6 standard, and Bluetooth 5.3. The Vivo X80 and X80 Pro ship with the Android 12-based FunTouch OS 12 out of the box, as well as dual speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and other features. Although the X80 Pro model has an IP68 classification for water and dust protection, the vanilla X80 Smartphone does not.

The Vivo X80 and X80 Pro will be available for pre-order on May 18, with the initial sale beginning on May 25. They will be sold in India through Flipkart and Vivo’s official outlets. While the X80 Pro only comes in one colour, Cosmic Black, the X80 comes in two: Urban Blue and Cosmic Black.
