Vivo X Fold+ Launched in China with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC

Vivo launched his second foldable smartphone, the Vivo X Fold+, just a few months after the first smartphone in China. The new foldable phone looks similar to the Vivo X Fold, but comes with upgrades such as a better Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, 80W fast charging, and more.

Vivo X Fold+ Details

X Fold+ sports an 8.03-inch 2K Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The secondary screen is 6.53 inches with AMOLED technology and has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Like its predecessor, the X Fold+ folds up like a book.

It uses the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The four cameras are on the back and have a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens, a 12MP portrait lens, and an 8MP periscope camera. There is support for night mode, portrait mode, 60x super zoom, dual view video, and more. The front following is 16 MP. To come back, X -Fold was a 32 MP selfie shooter.

A larger 4730mAh battery, 80W fast charging, and 50W wireless charging are supported by X Fold Plus. The X-Fold supports a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging. Running on Android 12, OriginOS Ocean.

It also includes facial recognition, in-screen fingerprint recognition, and more. Sunny Mountain, Sycamore Ash, and Huaxia Red are the colors available for X Fold Plus.

Vivo X Fold+ Price

The 12GB + 256GB variant of X Fold+ is priced at CNY 9,999 (Rs 1.13,000) and the 12GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 10,999 (Rs 1.25,000). Pre-orders are now available in China. It is not yet known if it will be available elsewhere.
