Sony PS VR2 Headset Will Be Available Soon

Sony has stated that the PS VR 2 headset will be available in early 2023 via an Instagram post and a tweet. You should be aware that the actual launch date is currently unknown, but more information should be available soon.

Sony has already announced the design of the PS VR2 headset and PS VR2 Sense controllers for those who are unaware. Sony has devoted close attention to ergonomics, making the headset thinner and more compact.

The headgear has a few differences but has a similar appearance to the PS VR. For instance, it incorporates the Orb design to display the 360-degree perspective that users enjoy and complements the aesthetics of the PlayStation 5 consoles. The PS VR2 Sense controllers have the same feel. The PS VR 2 headset has a novel vent design that allows for simple heat dissipation to prevent lens fogging. A new lens adjustment dial and a new built-in motor for necessary headset feedback are also included.

In terms of specifications, the PS VR2 will support a 4K HDR OLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, eye tracking, 3D audio, new sensor functions, and headset-based tracking rather than utilizing a linked camera specifically for this. Additionally, it will undoubtedly support 20 big-name games when it debuts.
