Red Magic 7S Series Launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU: Full Specifications

Red Magic 7S Series Launched: The RedMagic 7S and Red Magic 7S Pro are two new gaming smartphones from Nubia that were just launched in China. With appealing features including a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU, up to 18GB of RAM, a 165Hz display, and more, the gadgets join the Red Magic 7 and the 7 Pro that was released a few months ago.

Red Magic 7S Specifications and Features

The Red Magic 7S (and even the RedMagic 7s Pro) resembles the Red Magic 7 series, but with notable differences. The Red Magic 7S’s back camera is vertically placed. The phone is also available in a transparent version with an RGB cooling fan.

The smartphone has a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 165Hz, a touch sampling rate of 720Hz, DC Dimming, and other features. As previously stated, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The phone includes gaming-specific technologies like the ICE Magic Cooling System 9.0, 520Hz touch sampling rate shoulder triggers, and the Magic GPU steady frame engine for rendering image synchronizing, among others.

It comes with three back cameras: a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. There is an 8MP front-facing camera hidden behind the display. The Red Magic 7S is powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and a 165W GaN charger. The gadget is powered by Red Magic OS 5.5, which is based on Android 12. Dual speakers, DTS Sound, a 3.5mm audio connector, 5G compatibility, and other features are also included.

Red Magic 7S Pro Specifications and Features

The Red Magic 7S Pro is identical to the Red Magic 7S but differs in a few ways. The phone sports a camera hump that is square in design, with the back cameras positioned in a circle. It also comes in a transparent variant with an RGB cooling fan.

Aside from the design, another distinction is between a 120Hz refresh rate and a 960Hz sampling rate for touch. The 6.8-inch AMOLED display, though, is the same. The chipset is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, as was already reported. Additionally, up to 18GB of RAM and 1TB of storage are included. ICE Magic Cooling 10.0 and a larger 5,000mAh battery with 135W fast charging capabilities are also included with the phone.

There is a 16MP selfie camera hidden behind the display, even if the back camera setup is the same as the Red Magic 7S Pro. Most other details are the same.

The Red Magic 7S series is available in two colorways: Dark Knight and Deuterium Front Transparent. The Red Magic 7S Pro also comes in a Transformers Edition with a Bumblebee design. Here are the costs.
