Realme GT Neo 3 with Dimensity 8100 Officially Launched

Realme GT Neo 3 launched in China: Realme has unveiled the Realme GT Neo 3 in China, the new GT series phone we’ve been hearing about for a while. It is the successor to last year’s GT Neo 2, and as previously said, it boasts the newest MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, the company’s latest 150W fast charging technology, and a slew of other features.

Realme GT Neo 3 launched in China: Realme has previously announced the design of the GT Neo 3, so there were no surprises. We get an appealing package that features a rectangular rear camera configuration with large camera housings and vertical stripes inspired by automobile racing tracks running along the left side of the back panel.

The rear panel is coated with AG Glass. There are three colour options to pick from: a colour-changing blue-purple option, a Silverstone variety, and the standard black option, which leaves the race track stripes behind for a simple finish.

The front panel features a punch-hole screen with a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz, HDR10+, 1.07 billion colours, and a 1000Hz gaming control engine. The Dimensity 8100 SoC, which is built on a 5nm technology and incorporates a Mali G610 GPU, powers the Realme GT Neo 3. It has up to 12GB of LPDDR 5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

One of the most notable features of the Realme GT Neo 3 is its support for 150W fast charging, making it the world’s first phone to have this technology. It is promised to charge the 4,500mAh dual-cell battery onboard in less than a quarter of an hour and to charge 50% of the battery in 5 minutes. The Realme GT Neo 3 also comes in a basic form with a 5,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging, similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro.

In terms of photography, you got a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS and EIS capabilities. It has an improved AI engine that improves night photography. An 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP tele-macro camera are the other two back cameras. The front-facing camera has a resolution of 16MP.

A variety of gaming-focused features are available, which is to be anticipated from a GT-series phone. It features GT mode 3.0 for numerous gaming upgrades, the 4,129mm 9-layer tempered VC liquid cooling system is dubbed as the biggest and can lower the temperature by 19 degrees and more.

Other important advantages are free antenna switching technology, Bluetooth/ WiFi smart cooperation technology, low-latency dual-card parallel technology, and low-latency download optimization technology. Realme has recently released the Buds Air 3 completely wireless earphones, which have the same design aesthetic as the GT Neo 3. They were initially shown to the public in worldwide markets at MWC 2022, as part of the global debut of the Realme GT 2 series.

The Buds Air 3 has 42dB active noise cancellation (ANC), flash charge support, IPX5 sweat and dust resistance, 88ms low latency mode, up to 30 hours of playback duration on a single charge, Dolby Atmos compatibility, and other features.

Coming to the price, the regular edition of the Realme GT Neo 3 with 80W fast-charging capabilities is priced beginning at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs 23,900). (around Rs 23,900). The 8GB + 256GB model will be available for CNY 2,599 as an initial promotion, while the 12GB + 256GB option will cost CNY 2,799. The GT Neo 3 and Buds Air 3 will be available for pre-order in China starting today and will go on sale on March 30. When the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge releases in India, the Realme GT Neo 3 might be a strong challenger.
