Poco has finally launched its latest mid-range phone, the Poco X5 Pro, in India, after much anticipation. This Smartphone is a successor to last year’s Poco X4 Pro. It has several impressive features that make it a top contender in its class. It features a 120Hz display, a 108MP camera, 67W fast charging, and much more.
The Poco X5 Pro has a sleek design, flat edges, and a punch-hole screen. It has three colour options: Poco Yellow, Astral Black, and Horizon Blue.
The phone has a plastic build, unlike its predecessor’s all-glass design. The 6.67-inch Full HD+ Xfinity AMOLED display has an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, 1920Hz PWM Dimming, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It also supports HDR10+, DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, and Dolby Vision.
There are options for up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage on the Poco X5 Pro’s Snapdragon 778G mobile platform. Its 5,000mAh battery can be charged at 67W. The camera system comprises a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. It also has a 16MP selfie camera and various camera features, including portrait mode, night mode, and 4K video recording.
In terms of additional features, the Poco X5 Pro has an IR blaster, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm headphone jack, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and more. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 12 and will receive two years of major OS updates and three years of security updates.
The Poco X5 Pro will be available starting February 13th, with prices starting at ₹22,999. You can get a discount of ₹2,000 with ICICI credit cards or EMI transactions, bringing the effective price down to ₹20,999.
