Poco M5 Launched: Poco has, as predicted, unveiled a new affordable phone in its M series both worldwide and in India. The Poco M5 features the newest MediaTek Helio G99 CPU, a 90Hz display, and other features.
Poco M5 Details
The Poco M5 has a unique appearance and adheres to the design philosophy of the company’s previous Poco M phones. The leather-finished rear has a waterdrop-notched display and two cameras mounted on a large black slab.
The 6.58-inch DynamicSwitch Full HD+ display can automatically switch from a 30Hz refresh rate to a 90Hz refresh rate depending on the material being viewed. Additionally, the display features a Reading mode, Widevine L1, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

Similar to the recently released Infinix Note 12 Pro, the phone is powered by the newest 6nm MediaTek Helio G99 SoC with the new Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It has up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as standard. A 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro camera are all part of the camera department. There is also an 8MP selfie camera. You may experiment with options like HDR, night mode, and bokeh mode.
Similar to the Poco M4 5G, it has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. This is frustrating, though, given that Poco hasn’t improved its charging speeds in a long, and an improvement here would be welcome.
Furthermore, the Poco M5 includes Game Turbo 5.0 mode, which improves gaming performance by freeing up storage, cleaning RAM, and switching to performance mode. It has an IR Blaster, Bluetooth version 5.3, a 3.5mm audio port, and other features. It is powered by Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.
Price and Offers
The Poco M5 costs Rs 12,499 for 4GB+64GB and Rs 14,499 for 6GB+128GB. Both choices will receive an immediate Rs 1,500 discount when using ICICI Bank or Axis Bank cards during the Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale. A year’s free Disney+ Hotstar membership (for the first 10,000 clients) and free screen protection for 6 months are also available.
The phone will be available on Flipkart from September 13. It is available in the unique Poco Yellow, Power Black, and Icy Blue colours.
