The Poco M4 Pro 5G will be released in India soon

A sequence of tweets, all emphasising the number 4, have hinted that the Poco M4 Pro 5G would be released in India soon. Each tweet has verified a different aspect of the smartphone, such as its design, display, cameras, and more.

The design of the Poco M4 Pro was revealed in a recent tweet. The smartphone would have a rectangular back camera hump (similar to the Redmi Note 11T), but with Poco M3 Pro-like appearance and a punch-hole screen, as verified by another tweet. Another tweet verified the separation of the camera bump.

Another tweet, similar to the first, discussed the phone’s performance, which is guaranteed to be lag-free. The device’s debut date, name, and other features are yet to be announced.

Specs & Features of the Poco M4 Pro 5G

To recall, the Poco M4 Pro 5G, which is the successor to the Poco M3 Pro 5G, has a unique yet appealing appearance. Like its predecessor, it was revealed with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate. A MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC powers the gadget. 6GB+64GB and 8GB+128GB RAM + storage combinations are available.

In the back, there are two cameras: a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. There is a 16MP front-facing camera onboard. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W wired fast charging, an improvement over the M3 Pro 5G’s 18W fast charging. The gadget runs MIUI 12.5, which is based on Android 11, although it may arrive with the freshly revealed MIUI 13 overlay on top in India.

It also comes with 5G, a fingerprint scanner on the side, and other features. In India, it may have a few changes. The Poco M4 Pro 5G has a starting price of 299 Euros (around Rs 19,000). As a result, in India, we may estimate it to be under Rs 20,000. Keep an eye out for further details about the smartphone in the coming weeks.
