OnePlus 11: Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Hasselblad Cameras Make Their Debut

It has finally been announced that OnePlus 11 is the flagship, and it has reached China for the first time. The phone succeeded last year’s OnePlus 10 Pro and comes with several hardware upgrades like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform, upgraded Hasselblad cameras, and more, along with some cosmetic changes. Check out the details below.

OnePlus 11: Features and Details

Based on various leaked and official renders, the OnePlus 11 features a design inspired by the ‘black hole.’ Still, it looks more like an amalgamation of the OnePlus 10 Pro and the OnePlus 7T. OnePlus hasn’t changed the display, which includes a punch hole in the center, much like its existing models. OnePlus has placed a big circular camera bump at the top left corner of the back panel.

With LTPO 3.0 technology, a QHD+ screen resolution, and 1300 nits of peak brightness, it has a 6.7-inch Samsung 2K+ AMOLED display with a variable refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Display features include AOD, AI brightness adaptive adjustment, color calibration, eye protection, and more. The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 7.

With 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC powers the Xiaomi 13 series, Vivo X90 Pro+, and many more smartphones.

The cameras from OnePlus feature Hasselblad natural color optimization, Hasselblad portrait mode, Hasselblad XPAN mode, raw computing, and many other features.

Among the camera features are a 50MP primary snapper with OIS and a Sony IMX890 sensor, a 48MP ultra-wide lens with macro capability, and a 32MP telephoto lens with optical zoom of up to 20x and digital zoom of up to 2x. In addition to night scene mode, tilt-shift mode, long exposure, and up to 8K videos (at 24 frames per second), there are also 16MP front cameras.

A 5,000mAh battery fuels the OnePlus 11, which is supported by 100W fast charging. The tech can charge the phone fully in about 25 minutes. The OnePlus 11 uses ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13. It is faster than the OnePlus 10T’s 80W fast charging but is better than the OnePlus 10 Pro’s 80W fast charging.

Furthermore, the OnePlus 11 supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Dolby Atmos with spatial audio, a bionic vibrating motor, 3685mm2 VC liquid cooling, and more.
