According to Motorola’s CEO, the Moto Razr 3 will be released in 2022.
According to a recent company executive, Motorola will release its third-generation Moto Razr clamshell foldable smartphone in 2022. The smartphone, which will compete with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 3, is said to include a strong processor, an upgraded design, and other flagship-level features.
The Moto Razr 3 will launch on 2022
Back in 2019, Motorola debuted the first-generation Moto Razr, which was the first vertically foldable smartphone at the time. As its replacement, the Lenovo-owned business produced the Razr 5G with upgraded cameras and the Snapdragon 765 SoC last year. And now, the company has stated that the third edition of the foldable will be released in 2022.
Chen Jin, an IT manager at Motorola’s parent company Lenovo, recently took to Weibo to confirm the Moto Razr 3’s release date of 2022. In his most recent tweet, the corporate CEO provided a photograph previewing the item in question. He also stated that the future third-generation Razr will include an upgraded chipset, a better user interface, and other enhancements.

Chen Jin, an IT manager at Motorola’s parent company Lenovo, recently took to Weibo to announce the Moto Razr 3’s release in 2022. In his most recent tweet, the corporate CEO teased the product in question by sharing a photograph. He also stated that the impending third-generation Razr will include an upgraded chipset, a better user interface, and other enhancements.
As a result, the new Moto Razr is likely to have Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 series CPU. It will be a huge improvement over the Snapdragon 765 chipset found in the Moto Razr 5G, which provided flagship-level performance in the third-generation Moto Razr.
In addition, the business intends to enhance the user interface of its future foldable phone, likely in response to the numerous software faults that consumers experienced with prior generations. It’s capable of running the most recent Android 12-based My UX skin right out of the box. Apart from that, there is currently no information on the device’s cameras, battery, or other specifications.
However, if Motorola wants to enhance the Razr, we believe the forthcoming generation should be more repairable. The business should also work on enhancing the display’s quality and the device’s hinge since many consumers had concerns with them in the first Moto Razr.
Concerning the Moto Razr 3, Jin stated that the smartphone will first be available in China next year, however, he did not provide a particular date. However, we anticipate that the rumour mill will provide additional information in the coming days. So, stay tuned for further information.
