Lenovo launches Vibe X2 sporting an octa-core SoC with a Rs 19,999 price point
Lenovo launched the Vibe X2 at an event in New Delhi today at a price point of Rs 19,999. First announced at IFA 2014, the Vibe X2 will be selling exclusively on Flipkart from November 10th, ie next Monday, from 10am onwards.
The Vibe X2 features a 5-inch full-HD and comes powered with a MediaTek MT6595m system on chip with a 2GHz octa-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. On the storage front, one can expect 32GB internal storage. According to Lenovo, the Vibe X2 is the first phone with a tri-layered design as seen in the images.
The Lenovo Vibe X2 will come with Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box but will come with the Vibe UI 2.0 skin on top. It will have a micro SIM as well as a nano SIM slot.
It also gets a 13MP rear camera and 5MP front-camera for selfies and video conferences. You get a 2300mAh battery and in terms of connectivity supports 4G LTE, Wi-fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth and GPS. The whole package is fitted into a sleek 7.27mm profile and is just 210 grams. It will come in white, red, gold and dark grey colours.
On the specifications front and with the pricing, the Lenovo Vibe X2 sure looks interesting, but we will reserve our thoughts till we actually test the device.
