At CES 2015, Lenovo launched its affordable A6000 smartphone, which will be available in India exclusively via Flipkart. The smartphone is reportedly priced at $169 (roughly Rs 10,500). The phone could give competition to Micromax’s Yu Yureka and Xiaomi’s RedMi Note which belong to the sub-10K smartphones segment in India.

In terms of specifications, the Lenovo A6000 comes with a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

The smartphone has an internal storage of 8GB with no information provided on expandable memory. It features an 8MP rear camera along with a 2MP front facing camera. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat which sports the Vibe UI 2.0 skin. It comes pre-loaded with the Guvera music app as well. The device comes with a 2,300mAh battery, which Lenovo claims is good enough for 13 hours of talktime and up to 11.5 days on standby mode.

In other features, the smartphone has dual-SIM card slots, LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0 and weighs 128 grams. The Lenovo A6000 comes with twin-speakers which work on Dolby Digital Plus technology.

At the same event, Lenovo unveiled a new wearable termed Vibe Band VB10. The Lenovo Vibe Band VB10 is a fitness band by the company which can also serve the purpose of a smartwatch.
