In an official statement, the firm stated that prominent Android phone manufacturers will offer custom skins based on Android 12 in the coming weeks. Brands like Oppo and Realme have already confirmed the release dates for their Android 12-based ColorOS 12 and Realme UI 3.0 skins, respectively. Vivo has officially announced the smartphones that will receive the Funtouch OS 12 upgrade, which is based on Android 12.

In a recent official tweet, the firm announced the release of the Funtouch OS 12 beta update. Vivo also released a list of devices that are eligible for the upgrade, as well as probable timeframes for when they would receive Funtouch OS 12.

The Funtouch OS 12 beta upgrade will be available for many devices, starting with the recently released Vivo X70 Pro+ flagship phone next month. For your convenience, we’ve also divided the smartphones into categories depending on their expected release dates.

Vivo intends to offer a variety of new capabilities to its mobile devices as part of the new upgrade. Widgets have been changed, a new nano music player has been added, and extended RAM technology is now supported.
