Asus launches latest gaming laptop ROG GL552 with Nvidia GTX 950 at Rs 70,999

Asus has launched its latest gaming laptop from the Republic of Gamers (ROG) series. Named the ROG GL552, the laptop will be priced at Rs 70,999.

The Asus ROG GL552 will feature a 4th generation Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor which is clocked at 2.6GHz with the Turbo boost frequency going up to 3.6GHz. This is a quad-core hyper-threaded processor. Giving company to the high end processor will be the Nvidia GTX 950 graphics solution.

The laptop will come with Windows 8.1 OS, 8GB DDR3 RAM, 1TB HDD and will sport a 15.6-inch full HD display. On the connectivity front, it offers Wi-fi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3x USB 3.0 ports, 1x HDMI port, 1x DSub port, 1x LAN port and so on.

The GL552 comes enabled with GameFirst III technology, which prioritises the flow of game data across networks, renders gaming smoother and reduces lag. Apart from this you will also get the SonicMaster and AudioWizard technologies. The AudioWizard has up to five presets for popular game genres.

Along with the gaming laptop you will also get a gaming carry bag, headset and a gaming mouse.
