Redmi K20 Pro gets MIUI 11 Global Stable Update

Xiaomi recently announced to roll out MIUI 11 Global Stable ROM update for many smartphones from October 22 to October 31. Under the first batch of MIUI 11 Update, the company has so far rolled out new updates for many of its smartphones, including Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi K20. At the same time, in the second batch, Redmi K20 Pro users have started receiving MIUI 11 update. While the second batch was to start from November 4 to November 12.

According to the information shared on the company’s forum, the Redmi K20 Pro smartphone has started receiving the MIUI 11 Global Stable ROM update based on Android 10. Some users have also shared a screenshot of this. According to the report, the updated version number for Redmi K20 Pro is 11.0.1.0.QFKINXM. The size of the update is 2.2GB and with this, users will also get the October 2019 Android Security Patch.

If you are also Redmi K20 Pro users, then you can check whether the new update has come to your device by going to the System Update section given in the settings of your phone. However, no download link has been given for the new update on the company’s forum. In MIUI 11 update, users will get many features such as new design, new dynamic sound effects, new Mi File Manager app, steps tracker and floating calculator.

Redmi K20 Pro has a 6.53 inch Full HD Plus AMOLED display. This smartphone-based on ColorOS 6.0 with Android 9 Pie works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor. Talking about the photography section, it has a 16-megapixel AI pop-up (Sony IMX471 lens) selfie camera. At the same time, there is a 48 megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear camera. For power backup, a 3765 mAh battery is provided which comes with VOOC 3.0 fast charging support.
