Realme GT 2 Pro Android 13 Update Early Access Announced

Realme GT 2 Pro Android 13 update: Realme has identified a known vulnerability with the Android 13 early access version.

Realme stated on Thursday that it is now taking submissions for early access to Android 13 for Realme GT 2 Pro users. A limited number of Realme GT 2 Pro individuals will be able to qualify for early access. The brand says stated applications will be accepted in batches. Realme has also mentioned a known issue with the Android 13 early access version. Before enrolling in the beta program, customers need to ensure that their phones are not rooted. Realme has said that some third-party apps may not be compatible with Android 13, which Google has yet to release.

The smartphone manufacturer tweeted that it has begun taking requests from owners of the Realme GT 2 Pro for early access to Android 13. Realme has released the specifics of the beta program in a blog post for the community.

Before participating in the Android 13 early access program, a user must ensure that his Realme GT 2 Pro is not rooted, according to Realme. To avoid data loss, the business recommends that users back up their data. Because the Android 13 early access version is based on the next Android version, which is planned to be released later this year, some third-party apps may not be compatible. As a result, Realme recommends that customers upgrade all applications to the most recent version available on the Google Play store. The business has also stated that the early access version may have an unforeseen influence on a user’s smartphone as well as an impact on regular use.

Users of the Realme GT 2 Pro must verify that they have more than 10GB of storage available on their phones, or the update will fail, according to the manufacturer. Realme further states that the corporation cannot guarantee that every application will receive the update owing to uncontrollable variables such as network communication and strategy changes. According to the firm, those who do not receive early access to the update will have to wait for the formal release.

Realme stated that an applicant’s Realme GT 2 Pro should have a battery charge of at least 60% to load the update. They should also update to the UI version RMX3301 11.A.16 or RMX3301 11.A.17. Eligible users may apply for Android 13 early access by going to Settings > Software Update and then pressing the settings button in the upper right corner. Then, by selecting Trial Version > Apply Now, users must enter the necessary information and take a quiz.

According to Realme, one mainly consists of the Android 13 early access version that fails to support the DC dimming feature. Users of the Realme GT 2 Pro will also be able to revert to Android 12. They will not be able to join the Android 13 early access program again after turning back. According to the brand, the process of returning to Android 12 would also wipe personal data on the device.
