Meizu M5S with octa-core CPU and 4GB RAM clears TENAA and 3C

A new Meizu smartphone has cleared TENAA. Spotted in two different listings – as M612Q and M612M – that reveal exactly same specifications, the device is said to be the Meizu M5S.

The phone is powered by an octa-core 1.3GHz processor, and sports a 5.2-inch HD screen. RAM options include 2/3/4GB, while internal memory options include 16/32/64GB. In terms of camera, the handset features a 13MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter.

Weighing in at 138g and measuring 148.2 × 72.53 × 8.4mm, the device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs in a 2,930mAh battery. Color options include silver gray, gold, and rose gold. Aside from TENAA, the device (both models) has also passed what’s known as China Compulsory Certification (3C).
