BSNL has announced a new maximum plan for its prepaid users while landing in the voice call and data war running in the telecom industry. Users will have to pay the plan 999 rupees. This plan is being brought to confront the plans of telecom companies like Jio, Airtel and Vodafone.
BSNL 999 Rs Plan Details
BSNL’s new maximum plan is available in all circles other than North-East India, Jammu and Kashmir and Assam. In this new plan, free voice call benefits and SMS will be available with free and unlimited data.
This plan comes with 365 days i.e. one year’s validity. However, there is a change in the tariff after 181 days after the start of the recharge. BSNL is offering unlimited free data with a data limit of 1GB per day. After completing the limit, the speed of the internet will be 40Kbps. Local, STD and roaming calls are free in all circles except Delhi and Mumbai. Voice calls in Mumbai and Delhi will be charged at 60 Paise per minute.
There will be a change in the tariff after 181 days. 60 Paise per minute for all on-net and off-net calls SMS will be charged at 25 Paise per SMS local and 35 Paise per SMS per National SMS.
Jio and Airtel collision with plan of Rs 999
Airtel offers national roaming and free 100 sms per day with unlimited local and STD calls under this plan. Total 60GB internet data offers in the plan. However, the plan comes with validity of 90 days which is less than BSNL.
In the plan of Jio, the company is offering 60GB of data, Unlimited free voice calls, 100 SMS per day and Jio Apps Subscription. Its validity is also lower than BSNL.
