Xiaomi’s Redmi 2 recently got a price cut in India, and now a new Enhanced Redmi 2 has surfaced on the Mi Singapore Facebook page. This could mean the enhanced version could be on its way here too. However, there is no official announcement for India yet.

In terms of specifications, the Redmi 2 features a 4.7 inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. It runs Xiaomi’s own MIUI 6 skin over Android 4.4 KitKat. The device has an internal storage of 8GB and can be further expanded via microSD card. It has an 8MP rear camera along with a 2MP front-facing camera
