Huawei launches Honor 4C at Rs 8999 and Honor Bee at Rs 4999 in India

Huawei launched two smartphones — the Honor 4C at a price of Rs 8999, and a budget smartphone Honor Bee at a price of Rs 4999 in India today.

Both smartphones will be available exclusively via Flipkart starting today at 6PM IST. Users who purchase the Honor Bee will receive a 10 percent discount as well.

Alongside both smartphones, Huawei also launched a power Bank – Honor AP007 – which sports a whooping 13,000 mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 1399 and will be available on Flipkart as well.

In terms of specifications, the Huawei Honor 4C sports a 5-inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Hisilicon Kirin 620 processor paired with 2GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. On the camera front, the Honor 4C comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera.

The smartphone will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI 3.0 on top. In terms of connectivity, the device includes Micro Dual-SIM (GSM + WCDMA) slots, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Micro-USB, micro-USB v2.0, A-GPS and GLONASS. The device is powered by a 2550 mAh battery, which offers talk time up to 10 hrs (2G) and 15 hrs (3G), as claimed by the company.

On the other hand, the Huawei Honor Bee sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA LCD display with a 854 x 480 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB RAM. It has an internal storage of 8GB and can be further expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. On the camera front, the Honor Bee comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera.

The smartphone will run on Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI. In terms of connectivity, the device includes micro dual-SIM (GSM + UMTS) slots, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), micro-USB, micro-USB v2.0 and A-GPS. The device is powered by a 1750 mAh battery, which offers talk time up to 6 hrs (2G) and 7 hrs (3G), as claimed by the company.

The massive power bank supports 5V/2A output, a monitoring system, a sleep function and an energy saving system. It has a fully unibody design and a circular arch edge design for easy grip.
